Automattic is now a domain registrar, changes coming to WordPress.com soon

Automattic, the company behind WordPress, is now an official domain registrar.

Obviously, this means their current partnership with Godaddy will come to an end soon with Automattic becoming WordPress.com’s standard domain registrar:
